Each bride will get a customized experience to determine which hair and makeup look is the perfect fit. From a soft, natural look to full on glam, we'll create your perfect wedding day look! Need me to travel to you on your big day? No problem. If destination is within a 5 mile radius from salon location, there's no charge. $1 per mile charge roundtrip (starting from salon location) will be added if destination is beyond those perimeters .

Bridal Contract Form
All forms of payment, including Venmo, credit card, cash or check are accepted on wedding day. Each individual receiving the agreed-upon service will be held responsible for payment. Any changes to the number of services provided must be made at least 2 weeks prior to wedding date. If the individual chooses not to receive the agreed upon service without at least 24 hours notification, their service charge will still be in effect. A $50 non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your date. This fee will go towards your balance of services owed on wedding date. A booking minimum of 4 services (hair, makeup or both) are required for travel.

At the start of your appointment, it's all about you, so sit back and relax! We'll first have a thorough consultation to discuss your hair wants and needs. From what color would look best against your skin tone to what your current lifestyle is, we'll find a look that's right for you. Styling tips/tricks are always shared, along with recommendations for at-home care. We'll wrap up your visit by setting up your next appointment!

A Bit About Me
Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for art design and creativity. I love that I’m able to express this passion to others through this career. Being able to help people look and feel their best while developing lifelong relationships has been so rewarding. I’ve been involved in the beauty industry since 2009, graduating from College of Hair Design in Lincoln, Ne for cosmetology & barbering. After working in Lincoln for a couple of years, I took the opportunity to come back to my hometown of Humphrey to open up “Bella Vita Salon". Now known as “Bella Vita Artistry”, I’ve taken my hair & makeup business further by doing more freelance work for weddings- my specialty! A little known fact about me- I also have a custom furniture painting business “Bella Vita by Shelby Ternus” that has been another fun, creative outlet. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and 3 beautiful, ornery children! Ava, Charlotte, & David gave me my most important title..being a mother:).
